The opioid epidemic continues to plague our communities, but great efforts have been made to address prevention and treatment of drug abuse, as well as change the attitudes and stigma surrounding it. After the amazing success of last year's sold out event, GDAHC and the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority will be hosting the 3rd Annual Opioid Abuse and Heroin Overdose Solutions Summit at Burton Manor. This year's theme is "Learning Together to Change Outcomes," as families, employers, local communities, schools, law enforcement, and health providers all have a stake in wellness and in helping our community members get and stay healthy. At the event, we will dive into new policies, programs, and institutions that have been developed to change how we tackle this widespread disease.

Last year's event was SOLD OUT, therefore we strongly encourage early registration! Registration includes meals and 5.5 MCBAP approved specific education credit hours awarded by DWMHA. The cost is
