Research Advisory Committee Research Day Conferences Evidence-Based and Promising Practices Grantsmanship & Grant Opportunities

Welcome to the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network Research Section. Because research and evaluation are critical to delivering high-quality behavioral health services, the following pages provide information about resources for providers, consumers, family members, advocates and academic partners interested in conducting research and evaluation within the Authority's service system. Information and resources related to "Research" and evaluation have been organized into several sections:

  • Research Advisory Committee (RAC): This standing committee is responsible for helping the Authority set its research priorities and reviewing all research involving Authority consumers and providers. This section contains information on the purpose of RAC, how it operates and how to pursue membership on the committee or approval of a project you would like to conduct. [Please note that ALL research involving Authority consumers or staff requires review by the RAC and approval by the Authority.]
  • Research Day Conferences: Every January, a conference is held to celebrate research and evaluation projects in Detroit-Wayne County and share the results of studies involving Authority consumers and/or providers and academic partners. In this section, you will find information regarding each of the annual conferences and links to conference information including presentations.
  • Evidence-Based Practices: Information about current practices that are supported by research studies
  • Grantsmanship: The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network's priorities for local research and evaluation in behavioral health services.
