Initial Training
With: Hillary Lesniak, LMSW, IMH-E (II) and Lajuan Williams, LLPC, MA
Dates: February 5 & 6, 2018 - You must attend both days (Last day to register is JANUARY 29, 2018@ NOON)
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm both days
Location: The Guidance Center's Center for Excellence, Building 2 at 13111 Allen Rd. Southgate, MI 48195
Cost: $30. Fee covers all of the required materials and handouts.
Required Materials: PECFAS Paper Assessment Form, PECFAS Self-Training Manual, and Blank Scoring Forms for the PECFAS Self-Training Manual.
Suggested Participants: QCMHP working with chidren ages 4-6 and CMH billable programs in Wayne County.
Training Information: The Preschool & Early Childhood Functional Assessment Scale (PECFAS) is used for assessing the functioning of children 4-6 years old. Qualified Child Mental Health practitioner will be required to become reliable raters to implement this tool.
Continuing Education Credits: 8.5 Continuing Education Credits are offered for this event. Participants must arrive on time and remain in the training for its entirety to receive credits. No partial credits will be offered. You must have your license number when you check in.
- Counselors: 8.5 Continuing Education credits are approved for this training. The VCE is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
- Social Workers: 8.5 Continuing Education credits are approved for this training.
- Children’s Mental Health Professionals (CMHP): These training hours meet the MDHHS training requirement for CMPH staff.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: Cancellation/Refund Policy: Substitutions are permitted at any time. No shows will be billed at the full training rate. Cancellations must be received in writing at least 7 business days prior to training to asmith1@dwmha.com to obtain a full refund. If cancellation is received less than 7 business days prior to training then no refund will be given.
Registration/Walk-In Policy: Participants may try to attend the training as a walk-in, someone that did not pre-register. However, walk-ins will NOT be guaranteed seats or materials. Walk-ins will be asked to wait until the training begins to be seated to ensure there is enough room. Plan to pre-register to ensure your attendance.
