NEW HIRE: Recipient Rights Training
with Magnolia Scott, DWMHA Office of Recipient Rights
Pre-registration is required for this training.
Date: Friday, October 17, 2014
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Participants MUST arrive before 9:00 AM to sign in)
Locations: The Guidance Center, 13111 Allen Road, Southgate, MI 48195 (Live Site), or Community Living Services, 35425 W. Michigan Avenue, Wayne, MI 48184 (Broadcast Site)
Suggested Participants: This is the mandatory Recipient Rights training for new hires in the Wayne County Community Mental Health System. Your employer can confirm if you are required to attend this training. DO NOT register if you work outside of Wayne County.
Training and Registration Information:
To complete registration, please contact your organization's HR department. The designated HR staff will enter your registration and provide you with a confirmation, which you must bring to the training. HR staff may contact 313-833-2071 on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays for further assistance.You must be pre-registered to attend this training. Walk-ins are not permitted.
There is limited seating available at each site. This training is also offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Office of Recipient Rights, 640 Temple, Detroit, MI 48201.
Participants MUST arrive at the training before 9:00 AM in order to sign in and be admitted to the training. Participants who arrive after 9:00 AM will not be admitted to the training and will have to register for a future session.
Participants will be tested on the knowledge they gain regarding Recipient Rights and will only receive a certificate if they successfully demonstrate mastery of the material.
Please bring the following with you to the training:
- A pen for testing
- Your driver’s license or state ID
- Your confirmation
- Your MHWIN ID number
- Your office phone and fax numbers
- Date of hire and date of birth
Continuing Education Credits: There are no Conitnuing Education Credits offered for this trainng.
ADA Accommodations: If you have individual requirements or need special services to participate in this training, please notify Hannah at hwong@vceonline.org. Please make arrangements at least two weeks before the training date.
Walk-In Policy: Walk-ins are NOT permitted and will be asked to leave and register for a future training. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please be sure that you pre-register if you are interested in attending.
