Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority provides an evidence-based self-management tool, myStrength TM , which is available to our provider network to help members and staff manage their health, stay healthy and reduce risk. myStrength’s proven web and mobile resources can help strengthen mind, body and spirit. This wellness self-management tool offers personalized resources to improve depressed or anxious moods and help overcome the challenges of stress, drug and alcohol abuse, pain management and insomnia. Registration: Pre-registration is required. Participants are welcome to try to attend the training as a walk-in (someone that did not pre-register), however, walk-ins will NOT be guaranteed seats or materials. Walk-ins will be asked to wait until the training begins in order to receive training materials and be seated to assure that there is enough room. Plan to pre-register to ensure your attendance.

Continuing Education Information
-SOCIAL WORKERS: 4.5 continuing education credits are approved for this training.
-SUBSTANCE USE PROFESSIONALS: 4.5 non-specific CEC hours are approved by MCBAP for substance use professionals, such as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CAADC).
CHILD MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (CMHP): These training hours meet the MDHHS training requirement for CMHP staff.
-QUALIFIED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (QMHP): These training hours meet the MDHHS training requirement for QMHP staff.
