  • Define burnout, including signs and symptoms
  • Understand the value of promoting work-life balance
  • Identify specific strategies for fostering open communication between team members
  • Identify specific strategies to implement improved work-life balance for team members

 Timed Agenda:

 
-9:00am-9:30am Define burnout, including signs and symptoms and specific examples in the workplace and co-workers  
 
-9:30am-10:00am- Define work-life balance, the importance of this balance, harmful effects when balance is missing in professional and personal life  
 
-10:00am-11:00am Discuss strategies to shift the work environment to support work-life balance in employees, what managers and supervisors can do specifically to promote this value in the workplace, how co-workers can encourage this in one another; summary and review of training
