Course Description:

This course provides an introduction to essential compliance principles, focusing on topics such as fraud, waste, and

abuse, and the importance of reporting any concerns.

Objectives:

Explore the current trends in non-compliance
Understand the policy or regulation related to the noncompliance issues
Strategies on how to remain in compliance
Understand the necessary steps to take once noncompliance is identified

Intended Audience:

Outpatient Provider’s designated personnel, to include Compliance and Quality Staff Members or others as identified by the provider.

Other Information:

The DWIHN Compliance Academy will conduct targeted provider training sessions quarterly based on provider type. These sessions will utilize a train-the-trainer model, equipping providers with the knowledge and tools necessary to deliver training to their respective staff.
