Course Description:
This training will empower community mental health workers—social workers, psychologists, therapists, counselors, parent and youth supporters, and juvenile workers—to elevate their leadership skills. We will explore advanced leadership strategies, emotional intelligence, and equity-focused practices to foster stronger community impact.
Course Objectives:
- By the end of the first hour, participants will identify key leadership styles and their impact on team cohesion in mental health settings.
- By the second hour, participants will apply emotional intelligence techniques to enhance leadership communication.
- By the third hour, participants will design equity-driven leadership strategies for diverse community mental health teams.
