Event Description/Learning Objectives: 

This workshop will identify and define trauma as it relates to systematic injustices. The goal is to encourage positive adaptations with participants to activate and enhance their voices through an interactive 60 min presentation. Participants will define and identify trauma and learn the necessary coping skills to transform their pain into power. The interactive presentation will allow participants to intentionally working to ameliorate conditions that necessitate resilience through acts of social justice through coping skills.
