How to Live Events & Training Calendar

To register for a live event, you must at lease register as a guest member of DWCTraining.com and logged into the website with your user email and password you have created for your DWCTraining.com profile. Click on the following link to learn how to become a member.

The benefits to registering online for live events
  • Registering online takes less than five (5) minutes
  • Registration process is automatically done online with no wait time
  • You can verify if you are registered for a live event through your Virtual Training Transcript
  • Email confirmations will be sent when you register for a live event
  • Receive email reminders about upcoming events for which you are registered
  • Live event are added to your Virtual Training Transcript
  • Print lost or misplaced live event certificates at no cost
Note:
Not all events are free or open to everyone. Some events may have a fee that can be paid online through the DWCTraining.com website, and some events require a special code. A "special code" needed for an event means it is for a specifically selected group of participants and not op en to the public. Please contact the Event Planner for the particular event for more information.
How to Registering for a Live Event
  • Before you can register for a live event, you will need to be logged into DWCTraining.com with your User Email and Password.
  • From the menu bar, click on "Training", and then click on "Calendar".
  • Select the month of the event by clicking on "Last Month" or "Next Month" top right of the page.
  • Find your event topic and click on its title for more information. Details will open in new window.
  • After reading the event page information, scroll to the bottom of the page and Click on the "Register Now" button. (Some events have multiple locations from which to choose, and then click on the Register hyperlink, then click on the "Register Now" button.) You maybe be asked for Special Code if required.
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page of the event for which you are now registered. Confirmation of the event also will be sent to your e-mail.
How to Registering for a Live Event that requires payment
  • After reading the event page information, scroll to the bottom of the page and Click on the "Register Now" button. (Some events have multiple locations from which to choose, and then click on the Register hyperlink.)
  • You will be directed to the event page to process the registration fees
  • Listed is the event info, comment section and a section for billing information, along with different options to pay and Cancellation/Refund Policy for Training and Event Registration and to enter in a Special Code if required.
  • You can select to pay by:

    • securely online by credit card or e-check
    • choose to mail in an agency or personal check
  • Once you have selected your payment option, click on the "Submit" button.
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page with the name and date of the event you are registered for.  You will receive an email from DWCTraining.com confirming your registration.
Note:

Payment by check: Make checks payable to: DWCTraining.com, 707 W. Milwaukee Ave Detroit, MI 48202-2943. Agency checks must include the names of the participants whom the check is covering. To ensure your payment and registration is processed, please include on the memo line of the check the name and date of event.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Substitutions are permitted at any time. No shows will be billed at the full training rate. Cancellations must be received in writing at least 7 business days prior to training to the Event Planner to obtain a full refund. If cancellation is received less than 7 business days prior to training then no refund will be given.

Walk In Policy: Registered attendees must arrive no later than 10 minutes after the training begins. After this point, seats will be given to the walk-in attendees on first come first serve basis. Fees still apply for paid trainings. You can pay fees on the day of the training.

Wait List: Once this training is full, you will have the option of being added to our wait list. If you want to be added to the wait list, please choose "agency check" upon registering so that you will not be charged. If you then receive a notice that you are registered to attend, you can pay any fees that are required upon entrance to the training.

How to unregister from a Live Event

If you registered for a Live Event online you will need to log into your DWCTraining.com profile. If you registered by fax or phone, please contact the Event Planner for that training. 

  • From the menu bar click on "Members", then click on "Virtual Training Transcript".
  • On the Virtual Training Transcript page, click on the "Upcoming Events" tab.
  • Click on "Unregister" hyperlink to unregister from the selected training.
Note:
If you unregister from a live event that has a waitlist and want to register for the training again, you will lose your spot and will be placed on the waitlist. If you unregister from a training were registration is closed, you will not be able to register for the training again. Please contact the Event Planner for any concerns are questions you may have about the live event.
