Description:The topics discussed will focus on the importance of parent engagement, the different strategies to get and keep the parents/families committed to the ongoing treatment and the covering different research and aides available.


Course Objectives:
1. To understand the role of the parent in a successful treatment program.

Timed Agenda:
0--30 minutes: Overview of Treatment proces
30--60 minutes: Review strategies to keep parents/families engaged  
 
Continuing Education Credits: Continuing Education Credits are offered for this training. Participants must arrive on time and remain in the training for its entirety to receive credits.  No partial credit is available. You must have your license number with you to check in. 
Social Workers: 1 Continuing Education credit is approved for this training.
QMHP: This training meets the MDHHS requirement for Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) credit
CMHP: This training meets the MDHHS requirement for Children's Mental Health Professionals (CMHP) credit
QBHP: This training meets the MDHHS requirement for Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals (QBHP) credit
Training Hours: This training offers general training hours.
